Each securities account is given 500 free quotes per calendar month. For every successful transaction, an additional 50 free quotes are offered on the next trading day.
Deposit of securities purchased on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong through our Bank is free of handling charges. Deposits of physical scrips, or shares received from bonus issues, rights issues or scrip dividend are subject to handling charges. Odd lot shares of warrants, Nasdaq stocks under Pilot Programme, GEM Board listed stocks and securities with no bid offer cannot be sold at board lot market price.
The offer is not applicable to corporate customers. To be eligible for credit card spending rebate, customers must hold Wing Lung Bank HKD VISA Card / MasterCard. Customers are entitled to 0.5% credit card spending rebate on the commission paid for the month. Customers whose VISA/Master credit card application is not accepted due to whatever reasons will not be eligible for the offer. For joint securities accounts, only one of the account holders will be entitled to the offer. For customers holding more than one securities account with the Bank, commission is counted separately for each account. Rebate will be doubled (i.e. 1%) for transactions successfully completed through NET Banking Service (excluding amendment instructions). Claims for double rebate will not be entertained if customers cannot logon to the NET Banking Service to place orders due to system congestion, system failure or whatever reasons.
